You need:
5 red potatoes
1 stick butter, softened and cut into pieces
5 slices of bacon (or more), cooked and diced
2-3 green onions (or more), sliced
3/4 C sour cream
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
3/4 C french fried onions, for topping
Bake potatoes in the oven until soft. Add to a large bowl and mash with a potato masher. Immediately add softened butter, green onions, bacon, and sour cream. Stir. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add french fried onions in right before serving or give as an option to serve on the top.
