These poptarts are so easy and very delicious! I like to cut the amount of sugar I put on the inside because I'm more of a crust lover. Play with it according to your tastes, but here is the unmodified version below.
1 frozen pie crusts
Butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
11/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg, mixed well
Preheat oven to 400. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Place dough on a cutting board and cut into four squares. Spread small amount of butter on one side of square. Mix cinnamon and sugar mix. Spoon some on top of butter. Fold dough in half or place one of the cut pieces of dough on top for an extra large one. Gently seal edges with fingers and use a fork to crimp edges closed. Slice a little vent into the tops. Brush each with egg wash. Sprinkle each with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 15 minutes.
