This recipe is 100 years old!! Found it at Eric's grandma's and boy was it killer!!
2 C sifted flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 1/2 t cinnamon
2 C quick oats
1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 C white sugar
1 C softened unsalted butter
2 eggs
1/2 C buttermilk
1 t vanilla
1 C raisins (optional)
3/4 C nuts (optional)
1. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
2. In a second bowl, mix butter, sugars, and vanilla until smooth in a separate bowl. Add eggs and milk and mix well.
3. Pour the sugar bowl into the flour bowl and mix gently.
4. Fold in the oats, raisins, and nuts. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes.
