BAKED POTATO

A quick reference for baking potato in the OVEN:

Preheat oven to 425. Clean potatoes. Rub potatoes with olive oil, sprinkle with kosher salt, and prick all over with knife or fork. Cook directly on the rack or a baking sheet for 45 to 60 minutes.


in the INSTANT POT:

Clean at least 4 potatoes. Pierce the potatoes all over with a knife or fork. Pour 1 cup cold water into the pot. Add trivet and potatoes. Cook on high pressure 12 to 18 minutes depending on size of potatoes. 12 for small, 15 for medium, 18 for large. Allow for a  natural release for 10-15 minutes.
