Yum Yum Yum!!! Looking for a healthy alternative? You can use this recipe in place of your cereal milk or drinking milk! It is absolutely delicious!
4 C water
3/4 C almonds
1/8 C sugar (optional..and add to taste)
Mix all ingredients in your Vitamix blender (if you have a regular blender, you may just have to blend it longer). Mix on variable speed 10 for 2-3 minutes. You can choose to strain the liquid through a sieve to get rid of some of the grittiness. I usually just skip that step, but it is a good idea!
Refrigerate! I would say this is good for a few days!
