1 lb extra lean ground turkey
1 1/2 T liquid smoke
1/4 C red onion, chopped
1 t dried thyme
1/4 t ground pepper
4 pineapple slices
1. Preheat grill to medium-high.
2. Combine ground Turkey, liquid smoke, onion, ground pepper, and thyme in a large bowl and mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well distributed.
3. Divide turkey into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.
4. Grill one side of burgers for 8 minutes, then flip. Cook for 4 minutes, then add pineapple slice on each burger. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes or until no longer pink.
