Peanut butter cup cookies!!! A Peterson FAV!

These cookies are by far on my top 3 list. If you love peanut butter and peanut butter cups, you may want to exit this page immediately!! They are addictive. But if you like food addictions, look no further! Add these to your holiday cookie list, you won't be sorry!!

1 3/4 C flour
1/2 t salt
1 t baking soda
1/2 C butter, softened
1/2 C peanut butter (I use natural!)
1/2 C white sugar
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 t vanilla
2 T milk
40 mini peanut butter cups

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda. Set aside.
3. Cream together the butter, sugar, peanut butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and milk.
4. Add flour mix; mix well. Shape into 40 balls--use an ungreased mini muffin pan.. (If you don't have one like me, use a normal muffin pan, but you will only get about 20-25 balls.)
5. Cook for 8 minutes. During that time, start unwrapping the peanut butter cups. When the timer goes off, open the oven and press the peanut butter cup onto the top of each cookie. Close the oven and bake a minute longer.

I've been making these for years and years ...I can't even remember where I got this recipe from!!!
