Chicken Alfredo Pizza
1 T unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 C heavy cream
1/2 C milk
1/2 C freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg yolk, beaten
salt and ground pepper, to taste
1 1/2 C chopped, cooked chicken
2-3 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 heaping T chopped red onion
1 C+ shredded mozzarella cheese
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, garlic, cream and milk. Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and beaten egg yolk, whisking vigorously so the egg doesn't cook. Set aside to cool while assembling the pizza.
2. Stretch dough onto a pizza stone, sprinkled lightly with cornmeal. Bake your crust for 5 minutes at 475 degrees. Spoon half of the sauce over the pizza and spread evenly. Sprinkle chopped chicken, bacon, and onion over the top as well. Drizzle with remaining sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese. Brush the outer crust with olive oil.
3. Return to the oven and bake for 7-10 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly!
